UT revises ground rent of vacant land, parade ground

As per the notification issued, the rent of all vacant lands, open spaces or reserve lands, falling under the jurisdiction of the UT administration, has increased to ₹ 3,000 per day from ₹1,000 per day. The refundable security has also been hiked to ₹7,000

13,155 cybercrime cases registered in U.P. since 2022: Govt

The Uttar Pradesh government has taken legal action against 7,570 cyber criminals, recovering ₹90 crore from them in over a year. 13,155 cybercrime cases were registered between 2022 and March 2023, with charge sheets filed in 4,372 cases and final reports in 4,606. The state government is actively dealing with cybercrime and has seen a decline in crime rates since the Yogi Adityanath government took office.

Khanna said the state government was proactively dealing with cases of cybercrime in the state. He said the Yogi government has adopted zero tolerance policy against crimes, including cyber offences. (For representation)

Soon, students of government-run schools will be served multigrain foods

The eight-member committee headed by celebrity chef Vishnu Manohar submitted a report to the state education minister. “To get good quality of food, the government must increase the remuneration of the person or organisations appointed to prepare midday meals,” the report stated

This is the first time the school education department constituted such a committee whose main aim was to incorporate millet and other nutrients in a child’s diet. The committee also suggested that food items be prepared in sunflower oil instead of soybean oil, and four types of grains must be included in the multigrain parathas. (HT Archive)
