The Manipur police has filed an FIR against the Assam rifles after an altercation on August 5. Following the killing of three men Kwakta, the Manipur police was chasing down the alleged "Kuki militants" when the Assam Rifles' vehicle was parked in the middle of the road. A fight broke out between the two forces over it. The video of the incident went viral after which Meitei community women protested against the central paramilitary force and accused its personnel of brutality. Hindustan Times has accessed the FIR.
