Wife questions husband on $8/month X premium expense, chat goes viral

A wife discovered a mysterious ‘X Premium’ purchase made by her husband and confronted him about it. The man’s reaction to this has left people in stitches.

An individual named Alex Cohen recently took to Twitter to share a humorous exchange between him and his wife regarding a monthly subscription purchased by him. A screenshot of the conversation on Apple’s iMessage shows his wife questioning him about a recurring $8 charge labelled ‘X Premium.’ The post and his reaction to it are expectedly viral and getting numerous responses from people.

“My wife just texted me this, I’m sleeping on the couch tonight,” tweeted Cohen along with the screenshot.

The image shows yet another screenshot, this one shared by Cohen’s wife, which details the transaction along with a question for her husband, “Um, what is ‘X Premium’ for $8/mo on the Chase card?” He responded to her with a puzzled, “How do I explain this?”

The charge is for a subscription to ‘X Premium,’ formerly known as Twitter, owned by Elon Musk.

The tweet was shared on August 6. It has since been viewed over 15.8 million times, and the numbers are still increasing. Additionally, it has collected a flurry of likes and numerous comments from people.
